We present an album of Ambient and Drone music called Flowerbloom from the Russian electronic music artist (the album was released on the label Simphonic Silence Inside at number 179). Alice, aka Flowerbloom, is a young composer from Ufa, Russia who creates experimental music as a remedy for internal and mental problems. Her creative quest began when she was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. During the depression that followed the psychotic episode, Alice decided to take up music as a means of self-healing from depression. The Flowerbloom project was born in 2019, after several years of playing music, under the influence of Brian Eno, Biosphere, Lustmord, Robert Rich, Aphex Twin and other recognized cult musicians of the ambient and drone genre. The Flowerbloom album, that repeating the name of the project, is on the one hand an anthology of early and a collection of new compositions released and written by Flowerbloom over the past 3 years.

"In the track Alone, I wanted to create an atmosphere of irretrievable loss of a loved one. One evening I was sitting and thinking what would happen if I lost my beloved. And that's how this track was born. My girlfriend took part in it, you will immediately hear her vocals. In the track House of Old Memories, I wanted to convey the atmosphere of the house and the memories associated with it. Positive feelings and not so much. In Depths of The Sea, my task was to convey the mood of the depths of the sea, a story about an old, flooded city. And when I recorded Screaming Echoes, I felt really bad. I was consumed by pain and anxiety, it was strong, and I hope I managed to convey it." - says Flowerbloom about several tracks from the new album.

Ее творческие поиски начались с того времени когда ей поставили диагноз параноидной шизофрении. Во время депрессии, последовавшей за психотическим эпизодом, Алиса решила заняться музыкой как средством самоисцеления от депрессии. Так с 2019, после нескольких лет музицирования, под влиянием Brian Eno, Biosphere, Lustmord, Robert Rich, Aphex Twin и других признанных культовых музыкантов жанра эмбиент и дроун, зародился проект Flowerbloom. Альбом Flowerbloom, повторяющий название проекта, является с одной стороны антологией ранних и сборником новых композиций, выпущенных и написанных Flowerbloom за последние 3 года.

«В треке Alone я хотела создать атмосферу безвозвратной потери любимого человека. Как-то вечером я сидела, и думала, что будет, если я потеряю свою любимую. И вот так родился этот трек. В нем принимала участие моя девушка, вы сразу услышите ее вокал. В треке House of Old Memories мне хотелось передать атмосферу дома и воспоминаний, связанных с ним. Положительных ощущения и не очень. В Depths of The Sea моей задачей было передать настроение глубин моря, сюжет о старом, затопленном городе. А когда я записывала Screaming Echoes, мне было очень плохо. Меня сжирала боль и тревога, это было сильно, и надеюсь у меня получилось это передать.» - говорит Flowerbloom о нескольких треках из нового альбома.
